Weekend Gratitude.

- Beautiful day today.....went for a family bike ride around the neighborhood.
- Watching Liv learn how to ride a bike without training wheels.
- Date night last night to Barbuzzo....The Goat Cheese Board and Budino dessert were AMAZING.
- Having yummy indian take out.
- getting in the freshly cleaned car this afternoon.
- Not getting a parking ticket when we thought we would.
- Seeing my mom and dad.
- Getting a "Momma Bonus"= Ry handed me an envelope with a pretend paycheck (worth a yummy amount to take on our overnight new york date)
- Thinking of our next date night;)
- Sitting on the grass (NO MORE SNOW)

Thankful Thursday.

* Hugging my mom.
* Getting some me time to get a hair cut.
* Found a cute upcycled silk purse for under 20 dollars....super duper cute.
* Started a long weekend with the Hubster....Three day weekend.
* It was Liv's picture day.
* Playing outside with the kids. Park date.

Gratitude.

* The sun shining through the blinds this morning when I woke up.
* Having a bagger at the grocery store.
* Charlotte having an episode that eventually went away. Didn't get worse.
* Watching a few birds explore Liv's hand painted birdhouse in our tree.
* Having a major jam out session with the girls in the car.
* Looking in the rear view mirror and watching the girls hold hands.
* American Idol is on.
* Checking about 4 errands off my list that have been lingering.

What made me thankful today...2/15/2011

* My girlfriend Andrea. She is teaching a free yoga class every Tuesday morning....NAMASTE.
* Charlotte did an amazing job at her "school" today (babysitting while I was in yoga)
* The sun was out and we got to enjoy some park time after Liv's school.
* Layed on the couch with the sun shining in. Read Chapter 1 of my new book.
* Enjoyed a handful of chocolate morsels;)
* Had a great talk with SIL, Nichole. Plus caught up on some fashion trends.
* Woke up this morning to Liv climbing into bed. Stroking my hair. Kissing me on the cheek, good morning.
* Got a few great coupons in the mail for local take-outs.
* Paid off real estate taxes.
* Baked some homemade bread.
* Scheduled a sunny park playdate for Thursday.

The small things that made a good day.

* the geese flocking in the sky early this morning during our morning walk.
* Reading a few pages of a new book. The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo.
* Sitting outside on a lounge chair. Sleeves rolled up. Eyes closed. Feeling the warmth and light of the sun.
* Watching some juicy, useless reality show....The Bachelor. Always makes Mondays more fun.
* Laundry is caught up and put away.
* Charlotte saying "I Love You, Mommy" as I tucked her in the bed.
* Seeing my sister in law, Jeanna.
* The parking meter having 15 minutes on it when I parked.
* Took the night off from making dinner and had leftovers.
* The girls playing well in the stroller today while I ran. Giggling and laughing.
* Playing peek a boo with the girls. Charlotte hides in the same places you do, and each time it seems new.

Heart day.

Today I am grateful for being loved. My husband, two little girls, moms, dads, sisters, brothers. Relatives. Friends. Today is Valentine's Day and I feel loved. I feel supported. I have a tightly woven "Net". If I shall fall, I won't fall far.
